Any ideas about how to get him to make a small diversion to the Stags on the way over?

I was thinking maybe ask him to pick up some bits from Ian at the pub on the way through. You'll also have to organise the hiding and jumping out bits, as I wont be there.

Hidding and jumping out , have you seen the size of the average Tosser , if there not fat then they've got arthritus or oldtimers , iv'e asked Liz to text me when they leave so we've got plenty of time to get the old and infirm out of site

James drill a hole thru them first then boil/simmer them in a pan of water for roughly 30 mins.
Put them in the freezer for a few days and bobs yer uncle

3 hours if you go the quick and boring way, which means that even if you don't get away from Brands before midnight, you'll still get there well before last orders
