My new to me bike was supplied with only one fob (with flip-out key) and a plastic key.
The parts fiche show two fobs plus the plastic key.

How many fobs should be supplied?

Also, is it possible to get a key cut? It doesn't need a chip as it will be used for panniers/top box only.

There's an online place that makes them w/o the chip and it was on a recent post. If someone can point it out I will get one for the wife, for panniers etc.

A few years ago I wanted a replacement key for a BMW I owned (may have been a K1300) for luggage purposes. I enquired at my local dealer and they produced a box with hundreds of keys in it. These were keys left over from luggage when they had matched luggage keys to customers ignition keys, these being the keys that came when the luggage was ordered.

The salesman bet me he would have to try no more than 10 keys before he found one which matched the locks on my bike. He was wrong, it took about 12 tries. He gave me the key free of charge.

I'm hoping he'll do the same again as I too was only given 1 key and the plastic spare with my bike and want a replacement for the pannier and top case locks

1 key, (miffed)!

Oh and one tiny shitty plastic thing that you have to rub up and down in the mud under your rear wheel mudguard.

Abslotely love the system ...but trust BMW to take the piss ...charge £300 odd but remove one key !

Ah , to add "salt into the wound"... after charging us £300, they now make this option free of charge!
