Anyone know if the key for the WC is the same type as the old key ?

The reason I ask is that I'm going to keep my alloy topbox and wanted to code the locks to the new key.

As far as I can see, both the LC and the 09/13 have the same part numbers for the lock barrel on ther vario side cases.

So I believe that the LC key will fit the old barrel. However do check for your own model.

Thanks for that.
I did speak to the supplying dealer but their parts dept suggested I buy two new locks (one for the top box lid and one for the lock that fastens the box to the rack) at a cost of £46.
I'll remove the locks and take them with me when I pick up the new bike and hopefully sweetalk them into codeing them to the new key.

Indeed they do fit, I got my old Vario topbox recoded to the new key......
