Spent the second week of september up the west of Scotland, cracking scenery, we got beautiful weather which was a bonus but I would highly recommend it to anyone, Thanks Damien for the the tips and especially the Avon skin so soft for the midgies, I am told June or September are the best months to visit especially if your camping, the bunkhouses were also good value and the hostel in Inveraray was spot on also.
