knoblies for x country

tubes

Lets know how you get on and are you running with tubes no tubes or something else??

i'll running them with tubes.
Can't decide whether to run them at slightly higher than normal pressures for off road or fit some rim locks.
Hopefully most of the going will dry , so maybe higher pressures and grip will not be such an issue.....:nenau

don't forget the heidenau scout that 'll come in 130/70-17 (in april 2011) and 110/80-19:

From what you've said about your trip, i'd be inclined to fit rim locks anyway.

If you find you need to drop your pressures halfway through your trip, you'll be pissed off if you have to keep swopping tubes out because of a bit of tyre creep and lack of prep.:rob

k60 scout stockist.....??

where do you go for these ? , like the fairly open lugs , these might be good if theyre a bit softer

The problem with these knoblies is when you ride it on the wet road It's very slippery. It seems that the new heidenau scout performe as well on off/on wet road.
Anybody have already tried them?
