Knott End Ferry.

Rumour has it that it will be going to help the war effort in keeping The Straits Of Hormuz safe. Take care Captain. 
That's a shame.Got the tram from Blackpool one blustery day to have a nose at said little ferry and take in the history of Fleetwood. Was suprised how much history there is in that little piece of England.
I’ve lived within about 10 miles of that ferry for nearly 40 years. Never used it. Dinky little thing though. It’d be better if it took vehicles.
I’ve also mostly stuck by the adage my father in law told me… don’t go to knott end there’s knowt there. I’ve tried 2 bike nights and a couple of visits out of curiosity. There is nowt there. No loss imho, and probably a saving to the public’s purse. I’m sure there’ll be protests from some though.

Brut33 and I love the chippy there. We're also saddened that cafe by the ferry point has closed down. The thing with Knott End is less is more. Its the shining light of the Lancashire Riviera.

The ferry only goes about 500m, if you drive round its 13.5 miles
