Krauser luggage

Does anyone have, or has had any experience with Krauser hard luggage fitted to their GS? I was looking at an MPS catalogue at the weekend and i saw an ad for a top box using the new Krauser K-wing mounting system, which looks like a good alternative to the rather unfashionable looking BMW item.

Krauser Luggage

I have a Krauser K5 Rack and Top Box (with back rest pad) fitted to a Suzuki Bandit. I first saw the system at the 2001 NEC bike show and was really impressed with it. It had been available in Germany well before then so was a proven design. Had mine for over a year now with no problems so wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. Mind you, in all that time I've never seen another bike with it fitted!

Hi, this is my first post!! I have some Krauser luggage fitted to my Honda VFR (K-wing rack & K4 panniers). I bought it from www.riderhaus.com - it's run by an American couple who live in Germany. Rack & panniers were $500 (£320) and the quality is great. The rack is much more substantial than most other aftermarket luggage. After a trip to Germany in June, I am getting a GS Adventure, so I will just need to buy the new racks (less than $100). I'm really looking forward to joining the GS ranks in the summer!

I got my local dealer to get in contact with them and delivery was about a week.

Cost was £270 supplied and fitted for a rack & topbox.
