Kriega OS onto the carriers?

Was hiding away from responsibility in the garage and pondering that's its a shame im not using my kriega OS (12 litre I think) and strapped it onto the rack

Anyone done this or think of a reason why this isn't a good idea that justifies the £100 a side kriega base plates?
