I have been looking at them too and have had some correspondence with them in the USA and their distributor over here.
As I understand it they aren't road legal but would pass an MOT as they don't form part of the test.
So, I guess it's just a case of how likely you are to get stopped by the police.
I am still saving up.

Who is the UK distributor you have been talking to for the Clearwater Krista lights.

While reading up on the Krista's I found this vendor from China recommended on a US bike forum, 100% feedback. Not ordered anything yet though.
