I will take better pictures once I get her out of the garage were she has been since end of August 2024.

Bought new on 2nd March 2024 has had first service by supplying dealer at 600 miles and I did an oil and filter change myself at 3000 miles.

Current mileage is 4198

I own the bike outright with V5 in my name.

List of extras fitted:

Rade garage K5 carbon rally tower
Bar risers
Scott’s steering damper
KTM Heated grips
KTM aluminium Handguards
Fat Bertha rear brake pedal
Pivot Pegs Mk4
Original KTM wheels with Mitas E07+ tyres
Outback motortek engine bars
AXP skid plate
Fuel dongle
Side stand dongle
Side stand foot
Front sprocket alloy cover
Adventure Spec rear and side racks
Seat concepts XL comfort seat
Wings exhaust with two baffles & carbon front pipe cover
Rade garage storage box and air filter with spare filters and dust covers
Billet rear screw on fuel cap
Radguards of Australia strong aluminium radiator grill

All original parts taken off will come with the bike.

I have added every extra to make this a perfect trail/TET/travel bike but following a recent injury I am going back to a bigger adventure bike.

If you know these bikes and the modifications I have done you will know that there are easily £4k plus of extras on the bike.

Best price I can find for a new old stock 24 standard model with no extras from a KTM dealer is £9,499.

If you are looking for a fully sorted 690 and can’t be arsed to do all the work yourself this is the bike for you.

£11,250 for the bike and all bits as detailed above.

If she does not sell I will put her back to standard and trade her against a big adventure bike and sell the parts separate which will probably make me more money.

Available by separate negotiation:

I also have a set of Woodys wheel works heavy duty wheels with excel rims black spokes with blue hubs and sprocket, Cush drive, Cush rubbers, disks and abs sensors with tubliss set up front & rear with brand new Motoz Desert Rear and Mitas C21 front tyres not yet fitted.

I wish you well in selling it, the used market for these bikes is challenging at the moment due to the heavily discounted new prices. A new 701 is about £8500 which is significantly lower than I paid for my 22 plate one new obviously back in 22.
I’ve recently sold two Husky 701’s, an 18 and the 22 plate and the buyers market was ruthless when it came to pricing.

Having said all that they are outstanding bikes capable of doing anything you want from them. I think the price you’re asking is very fair with all the useful extras you’ve fitted, especially for such a new, low mileage bike. 👍

Thanks for your comments Pepsi.

I know the used market is tough and KTM really are not helping with regular discounts it was bad enough when they did VAT free every now and then

I think the reality is I will end up putting her back to standard and trading her against a new bike. Which is a shame as I have spent time getting her fully sorted so was hoping someone might be looking for one that’s good to go.

I priced up all the extras fitted last night and was surprised to see they cost me £5k it’s amazing how you under estimate parts costs to the financial controller

Might list her on a couple of more specific Facebook pages but can’t be doing with all the scammers and dreamers that patrol Facebook looking for their next big score!

I actually dug her out of the garage were she has been since August bank holiday last year and had a steady run round and a fry up as a reward so every cloud has a silver lining

I've found facebook marketplace to be very effective if the bike is priced right, and it provides an element of amusement as well with some of the responses. Cost me nothing to sell a couple of bikes on there.

Any details on the spare wheels / cost?

The new owner will get first refusal on the wheels if the bike sells with all the kit on.

If I end up putting her back to standard I will let you know and list the wheels and other bits for sale individually.

After doing a bit of research and getting some part exchange values against a new bike it seems my initial pricing was a little optimistic in current market.

My loss is your gain so new price for a fully sorted bike as listed with the extras is £10,250.

If she does not sell at that price I will be putting her back to standard and selling of all the bits.
