Thanks... Unfortunately, unbeknown to me the seat didn't come included with the switch when I bought it and KTM apparently want £80.34 for a new switch (No, that doesn't include the seat or the rest of the wiring loom....)

funnily enough, my seat came with bits short and IIRC it was the switch in my case too. the vendor seemed unable to get the bits from KTM so dropped the just dropped the price of the seat to a mutually acceptable level. i was fine with that, as i never wanted a heated seat on that bike anyway.
I can buy a new one with all the wires for £180 so seems a bit daft to end up buying all the bits separately and paying the same price...

i think the price of mine at the time was £200 odd, but i ended up paying £140. i could have supplied my own switch etc. if i'd needed to use the heating, so seemed like a deal to me.
Tell you what, if you've got the manual and have time to scan it then if you could email it to [email protected] and I'll have a look at how difficult it is to make a switch up...

If you are not too bothered about having the seat heated (there seems to be enough heat coming from the motor), get them to swap it for an unheated one?
It was a private sale on here... I think I'll keep it as I really like the seat but just need to source the switch.
Jersey Boys KTM can do it for about £67 and just trying to see if my mate can blag one cheaper.
I'm tempted to fit the seat switch on the rear panel behind the seat release lock rather than run it up to the front..Thanks for the instructions Cookie. It clarifies what all the extra plugs are for (Rear pillion seat).
