:(I’m currently having issues with me laptop-I have no access to my c drive other than the menue, I have gone back to the furthest restore point and it’s still the same, when I try to get access it comes up with:
Run DLL as an app has encountered a problem-no shit Sherlock!
Any way at one point I got under properties that the drive was almost full.
I tried to delete my browsing history as I though it may be an issue but cant do that. View history was 20 days but have now dropped that to 1 day.
I can surf the net-as now, get Email I tunes and me nippers are on msn no problem.
But can do nowt else.
I have run anti virus stuff nothing found.
Does anyone have a clue how to fix, cheers bob

O yea, tried to go to system properties and cant get to advanced settings when i click on a icon i have to reboot.

If you can get it to boot up again, do the following:

1. Right-click MY COMPUTER, then click Properties - System Restore(tab). Move the slider from its default value of 12% until there is no more than 500 - 800 MB being allocated for restore points. Click Apply - OK.
2. Empty the Recycle Bin (desktop icon)
3. Right-click RECYCLE BIN, then click Properties. Move the slider from its default value of 10% to 3%. Click Apply - OK.

Reboot.

4. Browser Cache - If you are using IE reduce the size to 15-20MBs
5. C:\TEMP folder - Delete all files
6. C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\(USERNAME)\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMP - delete all files

Re-boot

Then go in search of games/photos/music that you don't want and delete and get rid of any unused programmes (un-install).

See how that goes.
