Nice one Neil and Ken, thanks for all your hard work in setting it up. It was good to meet some of the folk, though disappointed to be the only 1100 of course! I had a great day, just sad I had to dip out early, looking forward to the next one.

How about Eric Blair's grave, Churchill's birthplace, Lewis Caroll's house and Tolkein's favourite pub?

If you lot didn't turn up, it wouldn't have been such a good day, it's all your involvment that makes it all work. Thanks. :thumb

Just one thing, pick a different pub for the lunch break next time. That one shut soon after you lot went leaving me to sit in the garden for a couple of hours without any sustanance.

Might have been a good thing though, I don't think I could have afforded an afternoon drinking session in there.

And they say London prices are dear.

Great pics...reminds me of my childhood...used to go to that river catching taddies with my grandparents, never saw a bike go through it though and my granddad wouldn't take the A35 in their either. I always remember it being frequented by some bovine types, anyone smell funny afterwards?
