Not sure whether anyone else has had this problem, but using my 12GS this week into London in pouring rain I got home on consecutive nights with a soaked left foot. Getting out of my streetguard trousers I noticed that the right leg was relatively dry on the outside compared to the left leg. I think the water gets in through the reflective material just above the heel.

It`s the huge amount of water that gets flung from the rear tyre straight onto the left boot, it deflecting from the shock guard doesn`t help either :( I could feel it actually running down inside my boot :(
IMO the only way to stop it is to buy a hugger IIRC the Motorrad concepts hugger gets good feedback although the MK2 version is just coming out :thumb

Noticed that also, it seems to be force fed onto the back of the left thigh from the rear tyre

Are you a Boertjie??

Thanks Big Lee and Old Wolf. That was also the advice I got this morning from another owner. Will order a hugger this week.

Grizz, yes I am a British Boer. Been living in the UK since 89.
