Leaking Muffs

Hi

Got some muffs on the 1150 and I think once i get used to them they will see me through the winter well.
I do believe they are leaking from the top though, the bike is parked on the side stand and the guards usually get a bit of water in them when it rains, muffs fitted and they still do.

Tips or suggestions on how to tie the buggers around the bars is what i'm after, I tiped them downwards so know it didn't come in through the hand hole.

Stick a hole in the side and screw the bar end weights in through the outside.

I considered doing that but that end of things is just fine, I think the water is getting in around the mirror / velcroed bit, have just turned it downwards to see if that has any effect, will get her hair dryer in there tomorrow to dry it all out a bit
