I may have a slight oil weep from the rubber boot (that's #13 in a series of sentences I never thought I'd type into a keyboard :D).

It's not horrendous, but looks/feels like oil from the underside of the shaft drive, at the base of the boot (which is secured with cable ties..). After 30 miles commuting today, it's enough to smear my index finger.

I guess this would be easier to explain if I took a pic..:blast

I did not go to see Tom Jones last week at Sun City, but "its not unusual" mine varies sometimes nothing, sometime a drizzle, its like a wet fart for a GS.:augie

Aye.. its not uncommon. happens occasionally on my bike for apparently no reason at all. looks worse than it is.. crucially the oil level in the FD itself never seems to alter.. so I don't fret about it.

Just to be safe check the oil level in the final drive.
