I used to have a similar setup, but now they’re illegal they won’t pass an MOT where I live. I have LED bulbs lbs and a pair of hella FF50s connected to the main beam via a relay.

Certainly NOT illegal at my local bike MOT place. And they are mega strict! As long as the beam pattern is unaffected ( and he tested it ) then it’s fine.

I've successfully and with good results fitted an Osram H4 Easy LED replacement in my 1100...

Forgot to mention I bought the mini katur H1 led bulbs which fit the rubber domes better leaving more clearance
space between bulb housing and dome.

Sorry Udders, clumsily put by me. They were made an MOT fail item a while ago, but this was then rescinded so HID as an after-market fitment on a bike is legit. When mine was failed for it some years ago, I went over to LED and never swapped back.
