I have checked both leds and all appear to be lighting with no noticeable breaks in wiring. Any help with this would be appreciated please?

The ECU expects to see a reticular resistance from the original filament bulb. The LEDs draw nest to no power so flashing fast will be the ballast resistor.

Indicators are interchangeable side to side. Try swapping one, front maybe, see what happens. Will help isolate the problem to either a faulty indicator or wiring problem.

How I hate this "choose the words for me" spell checker.

I meant to say The ECU expects to see a particular resistance from the original filament bulb. The LEDs draw next to no power so flashing fast will be the ballast resistor.

You might have moisture inside the unit or it's wiring, reducing the resistance?
