LED Indicators

I've just received a set of LED indicators with a strip of red LED's that are actuated with the brake light. However, the wiring to the tail light/ brake light appears to be different on the '08' bike and therefore, I am not sure which wire I need to piggy back on to. Can anyone help?

The units you have are designed for the previous bikes tail light which used a conventional bulb and the connection was made by piggy backing off the spade connectors.

For the 2008 model with it's LED tail ight your going to have to strip the wiring and find the live feed for the brake light, as it's early days finding a wiring diagram could be a problem so unless someone can help with the colours it's down to a multi meter as has already been mentioned.

Managed to borrow a multi meter, so Should be able to sort it out.

SORTED. The live wire for the brake light is the MIDDLE wire of 3 going to the rear light.
