LED tail light replacement

I'm after something to fit to my R100RT, this has separate stop light & tail light bulbs.
Anyone found someone who sells something that lives up to it's claims. I've only seen the early attempts, which seemed to give out less light than a conventional bulb.

One of the problems being that the LED's all pointed rearward, and so didn't illuminate to the same extent as a conventional bulb.

My bike (R100GS) has a separated stop light & tail light bulbs. Yesterday I bought a 9mm LED bulb with 5 small LEDs. I payed 3.5 euros.

I think that it’s as bad as a normal bulb but now I’m expecting that it lasts more then 2 weeks…

Techno's rear LED fitting ( on my 100GS) is brilliant ...!!! Has taken a real pounding over last couple of weeks on Romanian and Bulgarian roads, and is still totally intact. Well made, and very bright- worth every penny on dark nights on rainy motorways.

Techno. They even work in the Southern Hemisphere

(although I had to mount it upside down)

Have you tried LED replacement bulbs? Fit straight in as a bulb would but have lots of LEDs instead of the filament and globe.

You'll have noticed that LEDs are everywhere these days. The technology has improved in recent years.
