The Legobike arrived today, very green and very red. Plans to change green into white, all part of being a sensible Airhead owner, have been put on hold.

The persuasive, smooth talking Mr Tarka managed to convince me, against my better judgement of course, that I should at least give it a go living with the intensity of the colours on the Legobike and the attention that will undoubtably follow and I have agreed. :blast

I hope that this decision, which is of the temporary nature, will not cause too much offence within this community of discerning, mature, well mannered, civilised, bike riding people.

I will now hide behind something safe and wait for your comments, all the time grinning like a cat that has just been given a big saucer of cream

Thanks Tarka, good to meet you, looking forward to many fun times ahead

need a new owner shot alongside the bike:thumb2 ... but being an Airhead owner now you may need to send the film of to get developed:D :augie

Good decision it looks good in green. Stevie Wonder agrees with me. No really it does, but the BMX handlebars would have to go if it was mine.

Hey Nick

Just got back home on the rattly railway :D :D

It was great to meet you today :thumb2

It has to stay green !! :rob :rob

Hope you have fun with it mate :beerjug:

....... but it's a proper heritage machine now - you can't just change the colour of heritage! :D

MMC is right you know, it is green - it should stay green! :thumb2

Bet you didn't imagine you were buying in to heritage did you!!

Hmmmm,a bit of a dilemma here me thinks.

Did you buy it,to leave it green,or have it re sprayed a different colour?

Tarka, did you sell it with the strict instructions that it must stay green?

I personally think that it should carry on evolving into something else(you never know,it might end up looking like a motorbike:rolleyes: )and the name "Legobike" should go into the history books, and a new chapter should start in the poor things life.

Ladies and Gentlemen,I give you the "Sticklebrick Bike":bounce1

need a new owner shot alongside the bike:thumb2 ... but being an Airhead owner now you may need to buy a pair of hideous purple MX trousers to really set it off :D :augie

Christ can you imagine it.

Stick with your plans and paint it ............. quick.

What to do?

Thank you all for the interest in this, pictures will follow but not sure about purple latex :augie .

I think that it will always be the Legobike, after all LEGO means 'play well'. Evolution is a slow process so there will be no changes for the time being, but over time, who knows, ideas and influences always welcome

Keep it GREEN.................but change the seat to black

Oh.................if it's purple spandex you're after:nenau I have just the Enduro trousers for you:D :augie :augie

It's not the lego bike if you don't keep the colours.

If you repaint it you'll also have to go into the witness protection programme to further conceal the true identity bestowed upon this beautiful airhead

Keep it as is.

I won't suggest you try Tarka's haircut though :D
