If this has been asked before, forgive me I'm a newbe.

What is this Lentini Zero=Zero thingy?

As GS owner of two & half weeks I'm finding the surging at approx 30mph a pain and I have read somewhere ???!! that carrying out Lentini Zero=Zero will stop the surging.

Any help or sources of information/details how Lentini Zero=Zero is carried out would be greatly appreciated.

you wanna go to http://www.ibmwr.org/r-tech/oilheads/index.shtml

or more specifically to http://www.ibmwr.org/r-tech/oilheads/zero528.shtml

BTW when it mentions the rear pin/wire it means pin 1 (take off the connector and you will see numbers 1-4. ie by rear they mean towards the back of the bike.

Having said that I have not ever done the Zero = Zero (the ribber sleeve on my bike is next to impossible to slide off. I am told that generally on new ish bikes is is never far out. Guess I'll look at zero zero this week.

I would imagine you should consider getting a twinmax see http://www.calamander.co.uk/twinmax/twinmaxmk2.htm and balancing the carbs.

It takes about 5-10 mins to do this and gives smoother running and more POWER :-)

Twice I have done this (1st time was 5,000 miles ago, 2nd was last Monday) and twice I have tweeked just a tad and the results are Awesome.
