I'm sorry, Chris, this weekend was originally organised on the pink site, but when one lady after the other dropped out for various reasons (reminds me somehow of our LORP (Ladies Off Road Picnic) last year... ) we ended up with lots of UKGSers.

I think the reason for this shift in participants was that Robbie as the main instructur must have felt a bit intimidated by the prospect of having to tutor all these wild girls and therefore resorted to his male mates from this forum for moral and practical support...

However, I'll be happy to give the LORP another go this year and hope to see you both then.

Hey Guys, well I thought after all the excitement of the weekend, and having far too much of a good time, I best register onto the site and be able to say thanks for all the posts.

I had a mega time, had a learning curve as steep as some of the banks the guys were riding up, and met and enjoyed the company of new and old friends.

Pumpy, thanks for starting the thread and posting so many photos - Ive put a few on the Pink Way Round site, but might post some more here too.

Im thinking of trying to negotiate another weekend similar to this one - e.g. on the saturday use the quarry and then ride out on the sunday, perhaps some time in June?? But very much depends on availability etc, but if not perhaps we can organise a bit of couples weekend - not exclusive to couples tho for those who want to come along.

Anyway, will keep you all posted.

And, thanks again for a truly awsome weekend!

the day was set up for girls on the pink way round site

the quarry was limited to 10 bikes

and I can only fit so many people in my house

that's it, nothing exclusive about it, sorry if it comes across that way
