Its not mate, but a quick check on DVLA tells you that WMH 536, 1951 Vincent Comet series C is still around! I could look up who now has it on the Vincent forum if you like?? Let me know mate.

I remember being offered a Vincent Rapide for £55 in about 1968 . . . I couldn't afford it .

Enjoy the Comet, I remember struggling to keep up with one on the VMCC Saundersfoot run, my Ariel Square Four was being worked hard!
