I might be interested in a Scotland run. Come feb it might be time to shake the misery of January. I've never been in 'winter' so it would be good to see.

Can anyone come? Met you guys last month at the windmill. Fancy a ride with a bit of mix n match, as long as a total off road novice like myself an ride the green lane bits.
Are you planning on doing Scotland as a "private" trip. or is that open too?????????
I've done some green lane tonight. Went on the back lawn when on route to the garage. wasn't a pretty sight - I've made a mess of the lawn

I'm going to try and stick to gravel lanes where i can, with the odd rut or two.
but if it's very wet a few days before hand i'll keep on all gravel but with more roads between lanes..i'll be staying clear of grass lanes due to the fact it's very easy to come of on
At the moment i'll target the dates of JAN 08 SUNDAY for a few of us

OK then if we are going to do this i think we ought to start on the prep work.
I have been looking for a suitable property we can use as an office/workshop
but im gonna need some help on some other aspects.
1,Who will arrange the Visa,s
2,We will need a doctor,camera men,and fixers(each with a good knowledge of each village/Hamlet we will pass thru)
3,I think may be a trip to a survival/hostile environment course may be in order(poss Liverpool on a Saturday night)
4,Where will our wives/partners meet us and how far will they ride with us?

HeHeHe,by the way should any one manage to fall off before the run please be sure to carry on roling about in the road untill I can arrange for the film crew to get there.
BTW I think LWR and LWD is good.See my Boorman the Bufoon answer on the other site
