So after buying this fairly cheap, but probably not cheap enough ,as a forgotten about shed buy. I have finally got round to a clean sheet MOT. Originally intended on it being the work hack...........then I started down the rabbit hole.

Still a few things I would like to do, paint on the nosecone is ok from a few feet and there is a small crack on it for example, but they are shockingly expensive to replace. A new screen and less of a bodge for the wobbly mirrors ( clear silicone the moment).

So far, wheels refurbed, rear stripped and painted/powdercoated where needed, new tyres, new chain and sprockets, full service from top to bottom, new rear linkage, Trident exhaust which is fuck off loud but was a faff so it stays, full set of HyperPro shocks front and rear plus fork seals, pads, plugs, pudding cables and new battery, heated grips, new front wheel bearings, KandN air filter, tail tidy, full mop and polish plus a ceramic coat along with the ACF50 treatment.

Ive now stupidly spent as close to or more than I bought it for.....but its keeper.IMG_1586.JPG

I’ve just bought a low mileage 2011 1050 st for a trip to Spain nxt month, 1 owner from new and totally unmarked, there a lot of bike for not much money and go well.

Good looking bikes, too.

I had my sons advertised on here for a few days, then listed it on eBay, it went straight away for £2800. 16k miles. 2007. Close to mint.IMG_5951.jpeg

Great bikes, nearly bought one back in 2011 but settled on the Speed Triple (just to be kinder to my back). Superb engine and fabulous gearbox and not overburdened with electronic gizmos. Enjoy your light restoration (y)
