Just been looking at this thread, http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=233268&highlight=auxilliary and thought why don't I just change my standard H3 bulbs on my spots for nice 9w led bulbs just like Moto Enduro is flogging (and very nice they are too:clap)
Standard bulbs on spots seem very prone to vibration and for me at least, are always blowing. I've had the wiring/fuse/relay all checked and there doesn't appear to be a problem there. I'm not bothered about the HID route but now that led's are becoming more common I thought this would be simples:blast

I have searched high and low for 12v 9w led bulbs that emit approx 3000 lumen which I think is about the output of a standard 50w halogen bulb. I've only found one place (in USA) that has them.

Can anyone suggest a UK supplier at all please? A mate at work reckons a normal 1.5w 12v led would be fine in a spotlight but I disagree as i think that'll be just a little puddle of light even if i get those bulbs with 26 led panels in 'em:nenau

Anyone?

Thanks

i dont think you can get a single 9W led, whats the link for the US place?

a 1.5w led still puts out loads of heat and needs a heasink unless already built in, and correct it wont give u much light.

i would just get a pair of lights off the ebay bloke for less than £50 inc the postage and sell the current lights
