right then, i got the spotlights and the wiring what i need from Halfords now are some brackets to mount them on? i wanted to mount them the indicators. Does anybody know where i can get some or ideas to make some? Basically i need an L shape to bolt on the indicator shaft and hang the spots from. any help please!

Theres been a few interesting solutions to this on www.f650.co.uk forums, one thread is called aux lights on a budget and another PIAA lights.. both threads have been active in the last month so should be easy to find.

Graham made up 2 stainless brackets and fastened my Halfords lights each side of the beak . They look nice, are far enough from the indicators for them to be seen by other road users,don't vibrate and make the bike very visible. However the 650 does not have a big enough alternator to run them fulltime, I now have a voltage monitor fitted so I can keep an eye on whats happening and switch off items to let the battery recover. sue
