Just bought an Acer aspire one notebook. Nice piece of kit, 9" screen, 1Gb RAM, 120Gb storage. Operates with linux lite which is quite good, has an inbuilt WAN and is fast.
Problem is it is not compatable with my vodafone broadband dongle. Voda say they do not support linux, and no one else seems to. PC world say the the only way around it is to install windows xp and they want £150 to do so.
Anybody got any ideas as to get around this?
