Clinging to reality by a finger tip.
I'm trying to find [what I'd call] Liquid Insulating Tape. I know it exists, but I must be using the wrong name as repeated searches have failed to find any.

It's a rubbery solution that acts as an insulator and is applied with a brush.

Anyone know where I can get some.

Thanks.

Do you mean "Self amalgamating" tape? (just read your post in full - I'm out on a tangent - oops!)
Been around for decades- still has it's uses in today's thermoplastic day:thumb

Tarka, I bet you 've got the liquid stuff that you can cover your tool handles in, haven't you?

I use to have it, but what was left went off.

'Starbright' do a liqiud electrical tape - they are from Fort Lauderdale, Florida but it is sold in Uk boat chandlers.
Wacky
