Listening to music

Hi all, this is probably a stupid question. but are the headsets for listening to music designed to be used with ear plugs?

Any advice on the best system for sound quality would be much appreciated..

as an fyi I'm looking to buy a Garmin Zumo, and integrate phone and MP3, hopefully via bluetooth..

Search this site for Ultimate Ear or Green Leopard.

I've got the Ultimate Ear's, but I would suspect that the Green leopards are just as good.

depends what type of earplugs you wear, if they are foam, then it will be ok, but not great. Custom moulded one's then you can forget it, best to get Ultimate ears monitor plugs, they are the best.
I've had mine 3 years now and wear them as much as possible, if I'm not wearing them, I'm wearing the normal custom moulds
