Nice town quite a bit to do without skiing cheapest petrol outside of middle east a good place for a base camp to do the Stelvio etc
Hotel Alpina was good they have an underground car park so the bikes were safe and they dried our gear in the boilerhouse and the food was good too Their service was second to none I would go back

Hotel Cervo is excellent. We stayed there in 2009 and are staying there again in August.

underground parking, basic, clean hotel, fill up on the buffet breakfast, ride all day on the 90pfuel in town.
Hotel owner, Maurio is very pro bikes, speaks fluent English - a good guy.

I can't remember the name of the hotel in which we stayed in Livigno, but it was vey nice. It had a bar in the cellar which you could either get to via the traditional stair arrangement, or by a slide!
After enough Limoncellos, getting out via the slide seemed like a good idea.
(Just remembered - Hotel La Montanina.)
It is a strange town in summer - even though it isn't exactly deserted and every car park is full of bikes, it is clearly running at about 10% of capacity because there is no snow to ski on.
