Llandudno

Hi Guys, I'm of to Llandudno for 3 days on Fri 12th Aug so just seeing if you can recommend and routes for a couple of days rides out from there, points of interest or any of the usual haunts for us lot in that area. It will be my other halfs first jaunt away for a full weekend (hair straighteners packed), so I want to make the most of our time there. If anyone is in the area that weekend we could meet up for a brew and scoot around

Try a ride in to Snowdonia.....

Llandudno to Llanrwst to Betws Y Coed to Capel Curig to Beddgelert to Portmadog.
Down to Barmouth to Dolgellau and if you've got time, go ride the Macynlleth loop.
If the weather is good, the roads are great. If it's wet, there are slate caverns, the electric mountain, various castles, Llandudno town itself, and more if you google it.....

Are there any meeting points over that weekend on the routes you suggested. Any pubs, cafes owt like that? I've not done much riding over the past two years and i'd like to start getting to meet a few people and get on a few weekend trips with some fellow GS'ers.

Dil's Diner (name may of changed recently) at Betws Y Coed that gets bikes meeting there. It is adjacent to Betws railway station.
Barmouth also has a stop for motorcyclists.
Maybe a local can hone details for you....

OK, after the Mach loop, return North via Bala, Trawsfynedd and Blaenau Ffestiniog.....
