Local help needed

[Bungy]

Would anyone near to Southampton give me the benefit of a few minutes of their time? I have a 56 plate GS and i'm new to the mark. I am going to be doing the valve clearances over the weekend but I have a niggling doubt over the sound of the bike. I may be being precious over it and there is nothing of concern but would really appreciate anyone with the same having a listen for comparison.

I doubt I'd be much help and my RS is a raptly old thing but I do have the set of feeler gauges if you want to borrow them (and it they're the same clearances as an 1150)? Shame you couldn't make it to the oil head mechanic day in Lyndhurst last month, the bikes were predominantly 1150s but he did look at a 1200 too. Good luck anyway.
