With the biking season here about to start I am planning my schedule for the summer. We have a chef (also a biker) starting May 1st so I will have more time for riding our fabulous roads. I will be leading ride-outs throughout the season covering our entire region. Our playground extends from the Berchtesgaden area of Germany in the north to the Adriatic coastline of Italy and Slovenia in the south.

Anyway the point of this, apart from sharing with you all what a tough life I lead, is to say that I will be building up lots of up to date info on road conditions, places to stop etc. Of course the best thing is to come and stay to see for yourselves. But if anyone is planning a trip our way (no matter where you are staying) I will do my best to answer any queries. If you post a question on here and I don't get back the same day it means we are really busy-send an Email to [email protected] and Ros will see I get it! ( my dear wife assures me she does not nag, if fact she tells me that over and over again)

More roads open

Both the Nockalmstrasse and the Maltahochalmstrasse open for the season tomorrow, Saturday 30th April. Both roads have slightly increased prices this year to 9 Euros per bike-worth every cent though and as usual our guests get them for free.

With selfless devotion to duty I will ride them both as soon a possible
