Lomo Dry Bags

They look to be exceptional value for money. £20 playing £70 for an Ortlieb equivalent.

Has anybody got the 40l version? Does the yellow keep its colour or prone to fade?

I bought 2 of the Yellow ones in 2009 - used it on many a trip and then sold it to another chap in SA. The yellow does fade ever so slightly, lots of dirt roads does seem to mark/stain the yellow "canvas" a bit - HOWEVER as waterproof bags they are perfect and do the job well.

I must say that if you mainly use them in the UK and Europe - the staining/dirt might not be an issue if you mainly ride tar...

for the price - highly recommended........ I'll be buying a few more when I get back new! :thumb

I have one of the White 30 litre bags and having just returned from a soggy 10 day tour of Normandy , I can safely say they are indeed waterproof!

The White bag does show the muck a bit, but cleans up OK when you get back home

Highly recommended and great value for money

Excellent kit, got a couple for a trip three years ago, used em ever since...camping included... Plus last year a 8hr ride back through France, in biblical rain didn't faze em...yellow does fade a bit though...

if you see bags called 'Overboard' (mine is blue) i think they are the same bag and rebranded.
Very good bag, dont use anything else now :thumb

 they're a bargain

And just around the corner from Victor Devine Honda in Glasgow so have a browse there as well as get a bargain.

I was in a couple of weeks ago. The 40 litre motorcycle dry bags look great for loading on top of panniers and they have loads of tie-down points. Think they are £12, bargain :thumb

Fantastic bags. Very hard wearing, soft flexible material and side loading which is so much easier to use than top loading bags.

Mine's 5 years old now and is also used as my pack bag when flying, travelling etc, not just on the bike - still 100% waterproof.

Whatton recommended them to me, I owe him one :)

I bought a pair of the small 15 l bags to go on top of panniers. Secured with a couple of tie downs I had, were brill on 1600 mile trip round Spain. Not quiet as tidy as touratech items, but £16 the pair, bargain.

+1 another one here, I have two of them, and they are A1 kit.

I used 2 x 40l ones a few weeks ago, on and off the bike each day they do get a bit grubby, maybe more so with camping etc, but there really cheap and very durable - on the few wet days I had everything inside remained as dry as a bone.

They are very visible too from behind if the weather does close in.

So I'd rather have bright and cheap than black and expensive.:thumby:
