When I'm away, I predominantly camp. Which means I take a large soft bag fitted across the rear rack. (BMW Roll bag) However, I've just bought the Lone Rider Overlander 48 roll bag. Very similar to my current bag. Thing is. I cant find anyway of fitting it. There are no strapping points at the rear. Anyone managed to work this out, or come up with a solution ?
Cheers (y)

Is there no way to loop around the top box rack for the rear, and the pannier racks for the front?

The long straps do reach the front around the pannier mount. But, there's literally nothing at the rear ? Using the rear pannier mount just allows the bag to move forward. and is not secure.

Whilst it's not attached to the Bike. It looks like you could loop the connections between the 2 sides, under the overhang of the rear rack.
That should stop it moving forward. And the front mount stopping it moving rearward.

Do you carry a pillion?

If not, pop a top box on and strap it to the rear seat..

If you do, fix a plate with slots in to strap it to.

I do now and then carry a pillion. I think i'll have to wait for someone to fabricate a rail that fits in the two screws on this cover (Below) which will be the solution.

Do those screws holes go all the way through?
No, into a plate underneath........
I've sorted it.
So, The rear straps. You get two Long straps. These are the type that you pass through itself. And I found a route where they can come to the rear. Passing under the rack itself. So that now works. The Front straps. The other four straps you get are shorter. That's fine, The buckle reaches. However, The fixing buckle, is not long enough to go around the top, front pannier mount. So, What I had to do, was use one of the BMW roll bag buckles. I had to cut of both buckles, and swap them over. It now fixes exactly how I wanted it. Lucky I had those BMW straps to use.
