Hi Folks

I'm taking my first trip of the year up to Applecross at the end of April - I either stop at Oban on the way up or just go for it and do it one hit - 5oo miles - the wife says we have to stop on the way up this time.

I was going to stop at the Horseshoe inn / Argyle but i've left it late and now there fully booked :(

I would like to stop somewhere around Loch Fyne as I have ridden around it many times and it is beautiful - but i'm usually in a rush to get further North and I have never noted any Inns.

Some help would be greatly appreciated :thumb2

Cheers :beerjug:

The George at Inveraray. Not cheap, but fantastic. The Village Inn at Arrochar is also a good place.

Now, I didn't know The Lord of the Isles was doing accomodation, I do know it does good food and there's a nice wee track over the hill to The Crafty Kitchen in Ardfern which also does really good food.

And there's another pub just accross the from the road from The Crafty. (that doesn't do quite such good food as 'The Lord')

Mind and stop in and say 'hello' if yer passing.

It's usually 40 quid a night. I'm wondering if Auld Hamish the owner misheard you and thought your name was Sheep? :nenau

I'm not sure what worries me more, thought of that geezer waiting for me in my room, or the fact that you have that sort of image readily to hand:augie
