Have the plane tickets booked for a trip to London, November 13th-16th. Only today i find out the Lord Mayor's Show is on 14th Saturday
Would like to see the procession and the fireworks but i'm bringing the missus too so don't really want to be ''in the middle of it all''. Any suggestions for rather calm and nice spots with good views to watch it? Public transport issues (delays, overcrowded?), shops open? All inputs welcome.
Oh any pointers towards nice&affordable bike-gear shops (apart from the obvious hein greicke) in and around central London? Will probably be staying around Nottinghill, missus has never been to London before, so will be taking her around, show her the sights, let her do the shopping thing
don't want to get her all stressed-up going helmet/jacket-hunting in a far away neighborhood. In or closer to Travelcard Zone-1,the better. Cheers
