Lost connector needs a home - please identify

After having disassembled my 1150gs to replace the clutch and clutch slave cylinder, I am now nearly done putting it back together except for the one connector and I cannot for the life of me figure out where it goes I have been looking around all afternoon. Do any of you know what this is and more importantly where it goes? You would have my eternal gratitude.

Hard to see in the pictures below, but the wires are green with white and green with blue. The wires emerge from the group of wires that exit the rear of the fuse box and include the rear light/turn signals and abs sensor and rear brake light.





In the picture below, it is the connector that is hanging off the rear brake fluid reservoir bracket.

I think its un-used in the UK.

Could be the one for the US Charcoal Canister.

Someone who really knows will be along I guess.

I really hope you are right.

I was looking through the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual (yes it's rubbish) and the only connector that matched those wire colours is connected to something called 'tank pressure valve'. I can't imagine what that could be on an 1150gs.

Again, really hoping it's unused - I just don't remember noticing an unused connector when I was taking it apart. Of course I had to leave the bike for 10 days, so I probably forgot.

Un-used in UK

As someone else said it's not used in the UK and usually sits/lies in a small cavity/recess in the rh side of the undertray.
Please place it carefully though & secure with a cable tie because one of the wires is +ve 12volts all the time the ignition is switched on - it's an output from the Motronic unit, and if it's left loose it can rub on a frame web or similar and short to earth & blow a fuse and GS no go nowhere

I just changed all the cables and its not a particularly difficult job. Makes a HUGE difference. I found one of the cables had frayed inside the case. Not cheap though. The throttle cable has an 'upgrade' to at the handlebar too. If you do it, don't bother buying a new balance box though I would say.
