Had a nice 3 hour run from Chester to Cadwell on Babs, my LC GS. Entered a novice track day with MSV and had a storming time and then rode 3 hours home. What a cracking day out! GS was by means the slowest bus out there…..:bounce1

Bike performed faultlessly, rider perhaps less so but improving. Now off to Oulton on Weds 23rd April with 'no limits' track days if anyone fancies it, cheers

GS and track day.... it's not right.

:rob

Of course it is...... :P

Nice picture - no pretentious knee-down posing, just lots of lean and a confident rider sitting comfortably! Last track day I did the fastest bike in a decent group of riders was a KTM 990 Adventure, boy was he good. There was another very good rider on a Street Triple R who couldn't believe how fast this guy and his KTM got round.

Yep - taking a GS on track how shocking ;)

More concerned that someone would call their bike babs :blast

If you're referring to my pic at Knockhill, it would actually have been better if I'd got my arse off the seat a bit. Having said that, I did manage to get past a guy on what I thought was a GSX600, round the outside, coming onto Railway. Then I came into the pitlane and discovered he was really on a GSXR1000......:blast

Even 1150's aren't the slowest bikes in an intermediate group at Knockhill despite many of the others being track bikes with race tyres, tyre warmers etc.

Looks like you ground lumps off it Mike.

Off topic, does the shaft drive handle the turbo power reliably?
