I lost the sound on my Zumo 550 a few days ago. It started by going all distorted as if being played under water and finally gave up the ghost
. I tried battery removal, checked all Autocom connections, Garmin site and nothing worked. Finally called Garmin who advised that it would need to come in for a warranty repair
Hopefully this will sort out the issue or a new one may be sent
