Low Compression??

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me what the compression test should read on a 94 Funduro??

I've got 5 bar...is that right?

Any advice gratefully received

5 bar is about 70psi.Far too low.You should be seeing at least 120 psi (probably higher).
Either burnt/sticky or badly adjusted valve(s) or broken/sticky or worn rings
Have you checked for tight valves (always fractionally open)?.
Try a couple of spoonfulls of thick oil through the plughole,allow to temporarily fill any bore/piston gaps and recheck compression.
Does it use oil and how many miles has it done?.

don't know the correct figure for that engine, but i'd be surprised if it was less than about 185psi.
