low seat

You could try a sheepskin but doesnt make a lot if difference i had one, you could try a airhawk but it raises the height of the seat or maybe sell your low seat and buy a sergent seat which is what i ended up doing that does make a lot of difference but on really long journeys you will get a sore arse whatever you decide

I've got a low seat and use a butt-pad(a small black sheepskin) which I bought 2nd hand off a guy here. For longer trips I put an inflatable pad under the butt-pad which gives additional comfort and this arrangement worked OK on my trip to Morocco last year. I'm sure a sheepskin would also do the job, just not keen on the dead-sheep-hanging-over-my-seat look, but works for some of my mates. Hope this helps.

The Kahedo low seat (from Touratech) is very comfortable and slightly lower than BMW's rock-hard low seat.

You could also try putting your bars in the forward position. You get a sore bum on a GS because your sitting so upright so all the weight is on your bum and not some through your arms. Moving the bars to the forward position will tilt you over a bit so more weight on arms and inner thighs and less on bum. You will also be slightly lower to the screen so possibly less noise and buffeting. Course if you have short arms you might not get on with that too well but it costs nothing but a little bit of time to try it.

Tony Archer x2
but also
an airhawk is a good alternative. Try searching fopr airhawk on here, there has been some recent posts.

seat

Got the BMW low seat on mine and my bollocks end up round my neck as the seat seems to tilt me forward.
Need to swap to standard or even better GSA.

Set it up to high at the front sand low at the back and see how you get on. Trust me a GSA seat is no better, that's why mine is in the loft and a Sargent is on the bike.
