Low Seat

I was wondering if anyone can help me with finding a low seat for a 2003 F650GS. My girlfrind is now learning to ride. As she is now learing to ride she suggested that she has my bike which means I can have a new one

Anyway she is a bit shorter than me so we were looking at getting a low seat for the bike but they are astronimically exspensive here is Oz.

Does anyone know how "low" the seating position is compared to what is currently on the bike and can anyone make any recommendations as to where I could order/buy one?

The GS seat is the 'low' seat - the Dakar one is the 'high' one.You could probably get an aftermarket seat that is a bit lower but not a lot as there isn't much room to reduce the padding.Also be aware that some seats,such as Corbins, although lower may be wider which makes it harder to reach the ground.
I think you may be better off lowering the suspension with Kouba links.
