Low seat

Hi guys.
My f650gs (2003) has a low seat as fitted when supplied new. I could do with swapping it for a normal seat if anyone is interested

The low seat is the standard seat that is supplied with the GS. If you need a higher seat, then you require the Dakar seat.

If I remember correctly there are actually 3 seats. The Dakar (nice and thick padding), the standard GS, and a LOW GS (which is as thin as paper).

On my GS with the standard seat I could still feel the base through the foam after a short while, but after fitting the Dakar seat all was well with my rear-end

Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm lucky to have a copy of the original sales sheet from the previous owner who bought the bike from new.
It specifically requested a 'low seat'
Hopefully, motorworks are going to get me a Dakar seat

Adrian, we have a seat here, standard 650GS type, removed from a bike after it was approx 116 mile old (iirc), then we bought a low seat from Wunderlich for approx £280.

Yes, we can sell this 650GS standard seat, it has been used on one ride only. £115 inc p&p.
