Hi Guys,

I have a BMW low seat fitted but I could really do with a lower one if possible. Does anyone have any good recomendations? Even with the low seat I can just get my toes on the deck. Any help would me much appreciated.

Cheers,

Alex ...........

Sargent / Wunderlich do low seats which I think are about 30mm lower than the BMW low seats.

Hi,
I bought the Touratec extra low version which is about 30 mm lower also.
Nice and comfy and covered in a suede type finish which stops you sliding back and forth. They are about £230 mind! :beerjug:

looking for seat too

hi not trying to high jack this thread but I am also looking for a new seat. comfort over long distances being the main thing i'm looking for. I found the stock seat was great for about 9,000 miles but coming back from a long tour it started to get uncomfortable i put this down to lots of long days and expected the problem was really just a sore arse. The seat is still just as uncormfortable now though even on short trips.

So any ideas?? you guys mention lower seats - how tall are you and what difference did they make? I'm about 5' 10 the stock seat is ok on low setting but i cannot have both feet flat on the floor.

Any comments about seats and hights would be very much appreiciated.

All the best,

Adam

i have a tt extra low seat, it is lower than the stock low seat but its wider.....so you don't notice a lot of different...........only that its much more comfy on long journeys...........as for the height problem get ya bike lowered with wilber shocks...........they can lower bike up to 5cm...........and it don't alter the handling..........if anything it improves it as the shocks are made to measure just for you..............................janie xxx

ps i'm only 5.4 and my bike handles like a dream now.....

The TT Kahedo Extra low is as low as it gets.
The Sargent is as comfy as it gets.
The Wunderlich is a fair compromise between the two but the quality is not quite as good.

Well thanks peeps for all the info now just need to choose. The Wilbur shocks sound good but expensive ill bet and where could I get them?

Many thanks
