Low sun problems Sorted!

Maybe this is where the _osser but comes in, but did you know ...

I have real problems with low sun in the morning heading directly into it on my commute. Sunglasses don't eliminate top light so I was looking for something to stick on the outside of the helmet when Liddle did it again with a 78p kids balaclava with peak.

Its the best helmet liner in the world , AND the peak is perfect cresent to block the sun! It doesn't cause visor problems on a Shoei.

So ... youve stuck a wooly balaclava .... with a peak, and a bobble, over your helmet.



No wonder folk think we're strange.

Think of all the crashes you will cause when people cant see where they are going because tears of laughter have blinded them.

Serious problem though... I tape up the top half of my visor with black insulating tape. Doesn't affect field of vision, apart from upwards of course, where there isn't that many vehicules!

Yep I was right..... what a _osser I am!

Still, the replies have cheered me up - thanks

Now for the ride home - the balaclava thing gets better as I simply turn it round to give improved night vision when I am riding!

I am gonna try a baseball hat under the lid for the summer!

I would just like to say that I have never been near The Slow Grangers Helmet

Personally I just put tape across the top of my visor about 1/2 an inch. :helmet

Thanks Wildbeeste, I can confirm what Bobble says - and this is a family site so no pics dabone , but I do have a set of soiled socks I can sell you.......... : :dj
