I'm thinking about fitting lower pegs as i find my legs cramped after fairly short distances. Does anyone have any knowledge, experience or tips regarding their effect on comfort? Are some makes better than others?

Thanks in advance. :)

I have a set of Fastway footpegs from Nippy Norman (see link above). They are set to the lower position (I've got a low seat) and they are great. Like jewelery compared to the standard pegs too and much cheaper that NN's other option.

Strongly recommended!

Thanks Peter

I've looked at the Fastways on NN's site but can't find a referance to how much lower or forward they are relative to standard. Could you tell me approximately how much the two dimensions change by fitting Fastways?

Thanks again.

I'm also interested in lowering the footpegs. Just got my bike last friday and the only complaints are the bars and footpegs. (+boring breaking in...) I'll propably get the Verholen bar risers, but which footpegs, I'm not sure.

I'd want as much lowering as possible. Fastways seem to be nice, but if the lowering is only about an inch, don't know if that's enough. Has anyone trid the Touratech adjustable footrest? (044-0432) With 100 euros it's about the same as the Fastways.
