Picture of my bottom forks on a 2001 1150gs
Do they all go like this .


It’s still under warranty as I bought it second hand about 7 months ago so don’t know if it will cover it I need to check.

yes they do,and you can also get nice stainless disc bolts to replace the nasty corroded one's someone has put on your bike.Surely not a standard BMW bolt!!.Andy:D

Like Paragon says it's an easy fix if your out of warranty,I masked mine up and sprayed them black,I used a plasticote it does not chip and still looks good two years on.Andy

Andy any chance to find JUST the S/S bolts (without washers) on the internet?
